Bullow Joins UDA and Issues Public Apology Following DCP Resignation

In a significant political shift, Mohamed Haji Bullow, popularly known as "Kahiye," has officially resigned from the Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP). The DCP is widely associated with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Speaking at a press conference in Nairobi on Tuesday, Bullow cited a misalignment of values and political vision as the primary reasons for his departure. He noted that the move followed a period of reflection and feedback from his community, which had expressed concerns over his affiliation with the DCP.

"I realized the party lacked the proper foundation to advance my political aspirations," Bullow stated. "The reaction from my community was a wake-up call."

Bullow confirmed he has joined the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA), asserting that the party provides a better platform to serve his constituents ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Additionally, he addressed a recent controversy regarding a viral video. He issued a public apology, clarifying that the situation was a result of mistaken identity and expressing regret for any confusion or distress the footage may have caused his supporters.
